I did a review of Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Matte foundation not long ago. Recently, I came across this video that Bare Escentuals must have created when they first introduced their matte foundation. It’s so funny that I had to share it with everyone. I didn’t know they had such a sense of humor. It looks like a fun place to work. Take a look if you need a laugh.
You are getting ready to head out the door to school, work, a party, dinner, shopping – you name it. Naturally, you want to look your best and feel good about yourself. When you have acne, you are often more self-conscious about your looks than other people. However, you can achieve a natural look with the right application techniques and tools. Use acne makeup or any good makeup for acne prone skin, such as some of the ones recommended in our product reviews or store. Just make sure you have thoroughly cleansed and moisturized your skin first, using your preferred acne skin care regimen, before applying your makeup.
This product has been a recent life-saver for me. As I have gotten older, I have noticed more skin discoloration and uneven tone. I tried quite a few products and then my daughter told me to try the Oil of Olay Total Effects line. I figured I might as well save a little money and head to the drug store instead of the department store, though you can get this for less money on Amazon. Sure enough, this product has made my skin smoother and more even toned. I definitely recommend it for mature skin with acne. Even my husband commented that my skin was looking great – and he doesn’t normally notice these sorts of things!
I love Stila makeup and this tinted moisturizer I received as part of a kit. It provides just a little color for my pale skin without making it break out. It is best for combination or dry skin. If you are oily, stick with the Laura Mercier oil-free one.
