bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Face Concealer Review

Bare Escentuals Multi-Tasking concealer

Description:

This is a mineral-based powder concealer with SPF 20 that can be used for many purposes, including concealing acne and other skin imperfections.  Bare Escentuals also describes it as a soft eyeshadow base and good for covering dark circles under eyes.  It is oil-free, as well as free of other chemicals and ingredients that typically cause sensitivity reactions.

Summary of Reviews:

Bare Escentuals advertises its makeup as “so pure you can sleep in it”.  While any acne expert will tell you that sleeping in your makeup is a VERY bad idea, Bare Escentuals’ line of mineral makeup is one of the most popular ones around for people with acne.  It gets consistently high ratings and most users say that it does not aggravate their acne at all.  In fact, most of the hundreds of reviews we looked at raved about this product.  The only real complaint is about the color choice.  The lightest color is still a little too dark for those with very fair skin.

We are dedicated to giving you the information you need about products that will help you get rid of your acne, conceal while you heal, and look your best.  On this site, you will get tips on how to apply different types of makeup for acne prone skin, based on your skin type.  For example, if you have very oily skin may need special acne soap, oil-absorbing makeup, and setting powders. If you have dry or mature skin with acne, you may need an acne lotion or acne moisturizer that adds moisture without causing more breakouts.

In addition, you will find the latest and best acne skin care and acne scar cream products that have had excellent, objective reviews and tests.  Healthy, clear skin is still the best foundation for any makeup.

All the information we provide is based on our own experience, research, and testing.  This website is not about promoting one single product or brand like many other sites out there.  We are not paid by any company to review their products.  We will only recommend specific makeup and acne skin care products that we have found to be truly effective.
